"That's our house in the photos, that won the award! Martin did a whole load of renovations at our place. He created a self-contained living space and extra bedroom/ ensuite downstairs from a dirty hole under the house, added a stairway, renewed the hallway, bathroom and play-room upstairs, built decking and arranged for re-roofing and repainting of the whole house. Given the scale of the work we were amazed how he managed the disruption. The crew tidied everything away each evening and cleaned up, Martin was always easy to contact and happy to accommodate our design changes, and the overall attention to detail was faultless. Often overlooked - CHP use really good, trustworthy subcontractors too, and the sparky, plumber etc have remained in our contacts list to use again. We would use CHP again without a second thought, and would recommend them to anyone. Not the cheapest, but the value provided is outstanding - cheapest doesn't get this sort of excellent result. 4-5 years on from the renovations, we are still very very happy with the result."

"I am a first time home owner and also the first time I required a full house renovation. I have come from a foreign country but have heard many good and bad stories of tradesmen in New Zealand. The extent of the work was almost a complete house makeover. I must say right from the beginning consultation right through to the final completion, CHP and in particular Martin and Sam have been absolutely wonderful to work with. Throughout the project of 5 months, my partner and I had many questions and uncertainties on specific aspects of the house. Martin has time and again put in the personal effort required to ensure our concerns were addressed and where he could not, saw to them personally to ensure continued consistency in the manner we were treated. All work was staged appropriately, completed on time and within budget and done to such a state that we could not have asked for more had we done it ourselves! My family and I have no other words but praise for CHP, truly quality workmanship and customer service oriented, I would recommend only CHP for any building work to family and friends."

Martin does everything by the book, is super reliable, proactive in sorting problems and easy to communicate with - going the extra mile to make sure a good job is completed. We moved away while he was building our extension (large extension & deck to a 1930 villa) and every week I'd get a progress report along with photographs and was kept fully informed at all times. There were no surprises and any amendments were fully documented and agreed.
